Today’s advancements in avionics and electronics have created an increased emphasis on the wiring harnesses and relationship between the pieces of equipment in the aircraft. In order to continually improve the reliability and robust nature of the electrical systems of the aircraft, RDD produces all of the wiring harnesses and terminates every wire in-house. This careful attention to detail refines the performance of the aircraft and the satisfaction of the pilot and passengers. Care is taken to develop wire paths and define how each harness is installed into the aircraft. The instrument panel design is evaluated for ease of manufacturing and an overall emphasis is on reducing the number of times each wire is handled to preserve the integrity of the assembly. Every conductor has a process defined and continually evaluated to ensure years of excellent service by the electrical system and all of the equipment that rely on it to safely provide valuable flight information to the crew and entertainment to the passengers. When the function is right, the form is beautiful.
