| At RDD we maintain active development programs throughout the year. Currently we are working on Therm-X system development on the Lancair IVP prop jet. In the weeks to come we will be developing both the RV 10 and Velocity Therm-X systems as well. As we have notable progress on these programs we will keep the site updated with photos and commentary.
We continue to pursue application of the latest technologies available in the aviation industry. On the horizon we have speed brakes for the RV 10 aircraft as well as a built-in oxygen system. RDD's unique relationships with industry leaders allows for our continual technological developments to the benefit of our customers.
New to us this year is the LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) market. RDD has partnered with X-Air to "certify", build and market the X-Air LS light sport aircraft. This new segment of aviation is vital to the growth of the aviation sector and the introduction of a lot of new pilots while also allowing for the "old guard" to keep their wings in a safe and more controlled environment.
